    RTE's Today Show with Maura Derrane and Daithi O'Se officially finishes on Friday and fans will miss it

    RTÉ's Today Show has been a beacon of light for people over the last nine months.

    The massively popular afternoon show, fronted by presenters Maura Derrane and Daithi O'Se, provided us with an escape from the doom and groom and the onslaught of bad news.

    It brought us the latest in fashion and beauty, cooking and light hearted stories.

    But the show is wrapping up its ninth season on air for its well deserved annual summer break this week.

    Maura and Daithi will appear on screen for the last time on Friday May 28 before the show comes back for its 10th season in September.
