  • Love is blooming! Couple tie the knot in the first ever same-sex marriage to take place at the Chelsea Flower Show in its 110-year history

A loved-up couple have tied the knot at the Chelsea Flower Show in the first same-sex wedding that has ever been hosted at the annual event in its 110-year history.

Manoj Malde, an ambassador for inclusivity at the RHS, wed his husband Clive Gillmor in a traditional Hindu ceremony in the Eastern Eye Garden of Unity.

The stunning garden had been designed by Mr Malde himself ahead of this year's event.

As the couple said 'I do', they were surrounded by plants including Japanese cherry, cardoon and oregano, with floral beads and decorations dangling from pink and orange beams.

And in addition to their loved ones, the couple also attracted onlookers who were gathered to wish them well.
